French fruitwood dining table

Handsome French fruitwood dining table, with classic square tapering legs, pegged tenons, and two drawers to the long side. A great size, that will happily seat eight. Lovely colour and patination, with many old marks, but newly cleaned and waxed, and with some elegant tipping to the legs. A few worm holes, as is usual with tables of this age, but treated as a precaution, and nothing off-putting. Great tight boards to the top. A small loss to one of the original drawer knobs, and I have a turner that can replace this if it offends. A really good example, with a great over-hang, and a timeless style that works well in any situation. The height from the floor to the apron is 62cm.
