Beautiful desk lamp by Louis Kalff for Philips, circa 1950, with a brass stem and perforated steel shade. Known as the 'Z lamp' these are very sought- after. The lamp has been re-wired with black braided flex, an in-line switch, and black plug, but otherwise left untouched: There are just minor signs of wear in keeping with age, and the brass could obviously be polished if desired.
