Marble top chest

Handsome ebonised chest of drawers with original marble top. Three drawers, with original locks, and a key for opening, and a fourth ‘secret’ drawer to the top. Lovely clean interiors to all drawers, and oak lined rather than pine, which is always nice. Good antique condition, with some slight opening to the sides panels, but not off-putting, and perhaps preferable to an over-restored look. The three main drawers run well, the fourth is a little stiff, only because there are no handles – but important to preserve the clean elegant lines.
