Mid Century dining table
£795.00
Stylish and quite compact mid-century dining table, with a beautiful rosewood top, and legs and apron in agba wood, very similar to teak, but somewhat paler. The contrast with the rosewood is superb, and the grain to the top is quite stunning. The table top has been given a wash back and new oil finish, and the legs cleaned and waxed. The design is possibly by Robin Day – there are no labels visible to confirm, but it appears to be a compact version of his Albermarle range for Hilli. Lovely vintage condition, with just light wear consistent with age. The size is very comfortable for four, but will happily seat six, and there is a generous and elegant overhang to the ends. The apron height is 63cm from the floor, so no problem for knees!
