Oak apothecary drawers

Handsome French, oak, apothecary chest of drawers, with lovely proportions for a domestic setting. 16 drawers, each with original stylish nickel-plated handles, and all run smoothly. Good colour, and nice vintage condition, with some marks consistent with age, and newly cleaned and waxed. The piece was from a chemist’s shop originally, and some sections of the plinth were removed in order to allow the fitting (please see pictures), but barely registers. A good-looking and useful storage piece for any room.
