Petite French leather chair

Rare French 19C armchair, with an unusually petite size. Original leather to the inside back and arms, and original faded velvet to the outside of the arms, back, and seat. A beautiful shape to the back, and handsome studding to the perimeter.  The leather has a super colour and plenty of patination, and there are no tears or repairs either to that or the velvet. A lovely early example, and whilst the webbing to the underside has been recently replaced, the rest is completely original. A great size for a child, and perhaps even for a small adult. The seat height is approximately 34cm.
