French Oak Notaire’s cabinet

Handsome French oak notaire’s cabinet with sixteen removable filing boxes. Each box can be pulled forward and the front then dropped, and all have the original beautiful chrome handles. The hinged fluted batons to either side have their original locks and key, and can be closed to prevent the boxes being opened. Originally for filing, but would work well for samples in a studio or perhaps even shoes. Good vintage condition, with just light wear consistent with age. The internal dimensions of each box are: H: 13cm x W: 35cm x D: 25cm
