Art Deco coat hooks

Beautiful, and extremely rare pair of Belgian hooks mounted on oak. The design to the hooks is simply breathtaking, with both a beautiful simplicity, and yet a wonderful complexity. I don’t usually get excited by hooks, but these are probably the finest example I’ve ever had. Mounted on what appears to be an oversized piece of moulded oak, but I think is probably the original – it seems unlikely admittedly,  but there is no evidence of anything else been attached. A really exceptional piece.
