Handsome 8-drawer oak plans-chest, with brass card-plates and recessed handles. A nice quality example, with panelled sides and back, and splits in two pieces for ease of delivery. Lovely colour and condition, with just light wear consistent with age, and all drawers run well and have clean interiors. The handles to the lowest drawer have been replaced at some point with cup-handles, but very much in keeping, and barely register as different. A perfect studio piece for any artist or illustrator, and would work well in a retail position also. The internal dimensions of the drawers are H: 6cm x W: 139.5cm x D: 79.5cm.
