French fruitwood cupboard

Really handsome French fruitwood cupboard, with a panelled door, shelved interior, and original substantial working lock and key. Beautiful colour and patination, and a really grand height. I suspect this was possibly a church or monastery piece given the scale and quality of the lock, and tricky to date but probably around 1800, but possibly earlier. Simple shelves to the interior.  A few worm holes of course, but nothing live, and has been treated just as a precaution.  A neat compact footprint, and a piece that would work well in either period or contemporary settings.
