Handsome French 19C antique fruitwood sideboard/ buffet, with two drawers above two panelled doors. Lovely colour and figuring to the wood, including nicely matched graining to the doors, and in excellent condition, with just light wear consistent with age. Both drawers run well, and the lower cupboard has a removable central shelf. A few minor wood worm holes as is usual with these pieces, but nothing live, and has been treated as a precaution. A beautiful and useful piece, with an almost Shaker simplicity enlivened by the stunning characteristics of the wood, that would work well in both period or contemporary settings. The interior height between the shelf and the bottom/top is 25cm-30cm. The depth excluding the top is 53cm.
