French leather studded club chair

Exceptional early French leather armchair / club chair, with some wonderful studding, both to the perimeters, but also to the centre and corners, and still with its original velvet cushion. Really beautiful condition and patination to the leather, with one tiny repair to the outside arm that barely registers. The velvet too is in great shape, with just light wear consistent with age, and the webbing has been attended to and a new dust cover placed on the underside. A great size, with a good depth to the seat, but a still modest footprint. Undoubtably one of the nicest examples I’ve had in over 20 years of dealing in these things. The seat height is approximately 40cm, and the seat depth is 55cm.
