French oak notaire’s cabinet
Handsome French oak notaire’s cabinet, with 20 filing cartons that have fall-front doors, and can be removed as required. A rare and lovely example, with fluted columns that would originally have been lockable to prevent the boxes being removed. The keyholes to both sides are still present, but the lock to the RHS is no longer present. Nice clean interiors to all boxes, and all hinges and simple brass handles are present. An exceptional example, with just the lightest of wear consistent with age. The internal dimensions of each carton is H: 11cm x W: 42cm x D: 23cm
H: 175cm x W: 111cm x D: 35cm
