Handsome French oak notaire’s cabinet, with 16 panelled doors that lift up and slide back. All doors have their original brass handles and card-plates, and all open smoothly. The interiors have been lined at some point with a ‘marble’ paper, which could easily be removed if required, but actually looks rather smart. Nice clean condition, with just light wear consistent with age. Originally for notaire’s files, but would be equally happy housing shoes or crockery! The internal dimensions of each compartment are: H: 15cm x W: 44cm x D: 28cm.
