French vintage bedside table

Pretty French cherry-wood bedside table with a tambour-front and single drawer above. A simple and classic design, with a small footprint, and with a good colour and patination both to the wood and original brass handles. There has been an old and rather nicely executed repair to the back leg on the RHS, and done in oak rather than a fruitwood, but certainly doesn’t jar, and indeed perhaps adds to the charm. There is minor evidence of wood-worm but nothing live, and the the tambour rolls well, but only as far as shown in the pictures. Newly cleaned and waxed, and a genuinely lovely compact piece that might also work well in a compact hallway.
