French deco bar table

Beautiful French bar table with a really stylish art deco base, and original green Bakelite top, stamped Rex. A lovely example of this rare table, particularly with the green rather than brown top. The gold paint to the base is probably not original, but looks really dramatic, and the Bakelite top has just one extremely minor chip to the lower edge that is about 2mm, and barely registers. Examples of this table can currently be found on-line for over £2,500, attributed to Louis Vuitton, but I can’t confirm this!
