Lovely vintage Afghan rug, with a lovely palette of colours that range from a neutral background to strong aubergine. A nice mix of earthy colours and yet 20C design that would work well in both traditional and also more contemporary settings, and arguably will never date. The condition is great, with nothing but the very lightest of wear.
